Fiberglass

I was grown by slow quiet force.
Day to day micro traumas paint
a sandpaper landscape of my
not knowing.
Broken hearts and hands kept me soft,
like clay
easily manipulated
(In the ground, red and smothered.)
Fingertips are numb but
my neck easily tickled. I am
allergic to love,
respiratory rejection to your hands.
