Let me see it

In four years
I’ve arrived in my home
and I sit on an old cushion.
I’ve earned feeling tired but I’m
still bright and awake in
crisp cloth and mind.
I’ve earned feeling blue but it
has left me like a lover. The sad collapsed from
behind my eyes and my whole chest
into an orb that I whispered out
one day in winter.
I can lay here
and rest before the next lovely moment
calls me to live. And I say
I’m coming.
